The client's API marketplace was disorganized, causing inefficiencies for users attempting to locate and integrate APIs. The platform lacked consistent navigation, logical categorization, and cohesive design, frustrating users and disrupting workflows.

Research Approach

  • Conducted 10+ user interviews and contextual inquiries with Solution Architects, Developers, and Product Managers.

  • Created personas and journey maps to identify gaps and opportunities.

  • Synthesized findings into actionable themes to guide the redesign.

Solutions

  • Simplified Navigation: Designed a flexible search page with real-time suggestions and filtering options.

  • Standardized Layouts: Created consistent page designs for the Landing Page, Search Page, and API Detail Page to reduce confusion.

  • Responsive Design: Delivered a fully responsive platform optimized for desktop and mobile devices.
